HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)

In mild climates HVAC costs account for about 20 percent of your total energy expenditure. Keep reading to see how our HVAC controls system minimizes power usage, maximizes equipment’s useful life, reduces maintenance and repair costs, and results in reduced repair time.

Don’t touch that thermostat!

Our controls system eliminates traditional thermostats so that employees and patrons can no longer crank the air down or the heat up, leaving you footing the bill. We’ve all experienced an equipment shut down when a compressor freezes up. There’s nothing we can do but wait. And, how many times have you entered the building and thought it sure was cold? Somebody reset the thermostat and has cost you money. With our Internet accessible system, you can monitor or control the temperature settings on all your HVAC equipment whenever you like.

Use an appropriate set point

To ensure the maximum comfort for you and your patrons, use the ASHRAE standards for comfort. Properly defined set points will save you hundreds of dollars per month. More importantly, turn off your equipment when you don’t need it. Contrary to what some people believe, under most conditions it does not cost more to re-cool a space than to maintain a temperature. Our controls shut off your equipment in areas that don’t need it. So if only your drive-through is open, your controls will automatically shut off the dining room HVAC.
