Current Energy Beginnings
Current Energy is leading the quest for smart energy solutions. Power Brokers, a Current Energy company, entered the market in 2001 as energy deregulation became a reality. In 2005, Current Energy evolved to provide a broader set of energy efficiency offerings. Operating primarily in the commercial market, Current Energy saves customers money, educates clients and provides environmentally responsible solutions. Innovation and customer focus are the keys to Current Energy’s success. And, in order to provide customers a full spectrum of solutions, Current Energy maintains a substantial R&D department.
In 2009, Current Energy and it’s partner Halton were the recipients of National Restaurant Association’s "Kitchen InnovationsTM Award" for the M.A.R.V.E.L Demand Control System. The company was also recognized in 2007 as the first Texas organization to receive the Energy Innovators Award from the U.S. Department of Energy. Current Energy is one of only six other companies to receive this prestigious award.
