Assessment includes a 31-point inspection of up to three air conditioning units.

  • Check condenser fan for proper function
  • Check cleanliness and condition of condenser coils
  • Inspect condensing unit contactor for proper function
  • Inspect reversing valve for proper function (heat pump only)
  • Verify liquid line pressure
  • Verify suction line pressure
  • Verify superheat temperature
  • Verify condensing unit is running at proper amperage and voltage
  • Check for proper function of crank-case heater
  • Inspect high/low pressure switches (when present)
  • Verify furnace unit is running at proper amperage and voltage
  • Check operating speed of furnace
  • Inspect heating element (electric system only)
  • Inspect furnace unit contactor or control board for proper function
  • Inspect blower wheel for cleanliness and balance
  • Inspect evaporator coils
  • Check condition of drain pan
  • Determine Delta-T
  • Measure entering and exiting wet bulb temperatures
